OYAP stands for Oxfordshire Youth Arts Partnership but now we're known simply as OYAP.
Since becoming an independent charity in 2005, OYAP Trust has worked with thousands of young people across Oxfordshire and beyond through hundreds of irresistible, pioneering arts projects that help young people to achieve amazing goals through creativity.
Our first base in Bicester was at The Courtyard Youth Arts Centre, and then we created The Studio in Crown Walk. We moved to Studi02, our current base, in a former school building in January 2018, and are working hard to make it a vibrant place to experience arts and culture in Bicester.
OYAP is proud to be a 2019 recipient of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for voluntary organisations.

Helen Le Brocq
FOUNDING DIRECTOR
Helen was Director of OYAP Trust from its beginning until 2021. She has been an amazing advocate for creating arts projects that engage the most vulnerable young people, and in mentoring emerging young artists at the start of their careers in participatory arts. We would not be where we are without her.
Helen formed our passion for investing in young people, early careers artists and arts managers to ensure a vibrant future for the creative and cultural communities.
